Here are the two nurses who were honored on the court, chosen by an online vote:
Tequora Wells: This young lady deserves to be celebrated more than anyone I have ever known. Since knowing her she has showed up and been there for everyone she crosses paths with. Whether it's kind words, words or encouragement, or that helping hand, she is always there. She may have went to school to be a Nurse but she was born this way. Taking care of both her Grandparents until they were called, but also her Father, who she just lost this November. She is also there for her other nine siblings acting as a surrogate Mom to most if not all of them, despite not being the oldest. This past year has been a tough one for my "Gem", in July her youngest sister died tragically in a car accident, and four months later she lost her Father. Being the nurturing spirit she is, everyone turned to her. I watched her strap her big girl shoes on and proceed with Grace as she not only grieved her sister but also her Father who she was very much was a "Daddies Girl". Although her father had a bound with all of his children, theirs was something special. I believe there is no one more deserving of this than this Beautiful Woman, I am Blessed to call friend and "Sister". I could go on and on but it has to stop right? PLEASE pick my Sister so she can feel as much Joy as she has brought to so many others.
Bridgette Tesalona: A nurse who loves basketball and total Bulls fan! At work she will be cheering for the Bulls!
