Nominate Nurses To Be Honored! 

Three nurses will be recognized on the court prior to the game! Each winner will get 2 game tickets, a Timberwolves gift bag, Clove shoes, a prize bundle from Nuwest, and other prizes! Voting closes 10/23/2024.

Meet The Nominees:

  • Abby Braun (Nguyen): Abby Nguyen does forensic nursing, helping post-sexual assault and domestic violence victims by providing comfort and collecting evidence. She also educates young women on safe and healthy relationships while attending nurse practitioner school.
  • Amy Ko: Amy Ko is a dedicated nurse and hospital supervisor who thrives on serving her patients. She is an inspiration to her community, friends, and family.
  • Amy Stemper: Nominated by her spouse, Amy Stemper was a corrections nurse who treated inmates with compassion and respect. She now teaches nursing, fostering connections and advocating for her students and patients.
  • Annacita: Annacita is known for her compassion and dedication to her patients, always striving to make a difference during their hardest times.
  • Breena Eam: A veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Breena Eam works as a nurse at the Minneapolis Veteran’s Hospital on the cardiac step-down unit. She trains new employees and nursing students while offering compassionate care, especially to veterans in hospice. She frequently assists the homeless and her kindness extends beyond work.
  • Jenni Hamilton: Jenni is a heart failure nurse known for her dedication to patients facing heart transplants and chronic cardiac disease. She builds trust with her patients and colleagues and has been featured in the American Association of Heart Failure Nurses Journal.
  • Jessica Boehler: Jessica Boehler saved a man having a seizure while off-duty. She stayed with him until EMTs arrived, demonstrating her dedication to helping people both on and off the clock.
  • Kaitlyn Youngdale: A new RN, Kaitlyn recently moved to Minnesota and quickly proved her dedication by receiving a "Beating Heart" award. She treats each patient with compassion, getting to know them deeply to offer the best care.
  • Kristin Lau: Kristin has been a nurse to new mothers and babies for 12 years, visiting them at home and supporting their care. She won the "Outstanding Nurse of the Year" award from MPLS/St. Paul Magazine and has been featured on Star Tribune and MPR.
  • Melissa Ryan: Melissa, a burn unit nurse, is known for her expert knowledge and compassion. She organized toy and donation drives for children in the burn unit and comforted patients during the COVID pandemic when they were isolated from family.
  • Rheannon Charleston: Rheannon has worked on various units, including med-surg, orthopedic, and the burn unit. Known for her 'get 'er done' attitude, she has handled challenging cases with passion and dedication, holding patients' hands during their final moments.
  • Samantha Boettger: Sam Boettger works in the heart failure clinic at the University of Minnesota, where she supports patients and leads a monthly support group. She is also a manager who provides mentorship to nurses.

It's a once-in-a-lifetime moment for these amazing nurses, and we invite you to be part of the celebration.
