Tina B. is the founder of Bump to Latch. As a labor and delivery nurse, certified perinatal nurse, breastfeeding specialist, and mother to four, Tina is the ideal person to guide mothers and mothers-to-be throughout pregnancy and into breastfeeding.
Known online as Mama Nurse Tina, she intersects humor, knowledge, and compassion to empower women as they navigate the expected and unexpected roads to motherhood and beyond.
Navigating the Big Questions Around Pregnancy and Birth
Tina is a fountain of knowledge in pregnancy and breastfeeding education. During our conversation on the Club Nurse Podcast, we talked about how providing people with information so they can make the best decisions for themselves is key to healthcare, especially for pregnant women.
There are so many questions:
- Do I breastfeed or use formula?
- What do I bring to the hospital when it is time to give birth?
- Is it safe for me to have a home birth?
- What will happen to my body during and after birth?
Tina touches on all of these questions with firsthand experience as a mom of four and with several years working at the bedside, guiding women through the highs and lows of childbirth.
