Nurse.org launched our first annual "Top Nursing Schools- Student Choice Awards" contest, where your student and alumni votes determined the champions! Nursing students and alumni from around the country voted for these three schools as the best nursing schools in the U.S.

About the Contest
Nursing education plays a pivotal role in producing skilled and compassionate healthcare providers. This contest aims to honor the nursing schools that excel in providing exceptional education, fostering innovation, and preparing nurses to make a positive impact on patients' lives.
About the Selection Process
Voting Phase (state level): Votes were cast for nursing schools that voters believed stood out as the best in their state.
- State winners announced: 50 schools voted as the best nursing school in their state progressed to the final round of voting.
Voting Phase (national level): The top 50 schools progressed to the national round of voting where voters chose the top three schools in the U.S.
Methodology
A Nurse.org panel of nurses reviewed every school in the U.S. and used a number of factors to rank the top 10 schools by state. Ranking factors include,
- Reputation
- NCLEX pass rate
- Tuition
- Acceptance rate, when available
- Only ACEN or CCNE accredited schools are eligible

State level: The nursing school with the most votes in each state will be crowned the "Top Nursing School in [State] - Student Choice Award" and receive,
