Detroit Red Wings Nurse Appreciation Night 2024

Event Recap

On this special occasion, we celebrated the dedication and resilience of our nurse champions as the Detroit Red Wings faced off against the Philadelphia Flyers!

Meet the 2024 Red Wings Nurses!

During this thrilling matchup, we put the spotlight on three remarkable nurses who have gone above and beyond the call of duty. They took center stage on the ice and rode the Zamboni to the cheers of a roaring crowd.

Congrats to the nurses who were selected through an online vote:

Carley Taft - I am nominating my wife, Carley Taft. She is a nurse at the University of Michigan, CS Mott Children's Hospital. She works on 12W which consists of infants up to 23 year olds. During her 8-year career there, she has taken care of hundreds of children and I have loved watching her do it. She inspires me to be a nurse myself. The biggest joy was being able to marry her this last year. I love waking up knowing what a kind, caring, amazing nurse she is. We are both huge Red Wings fans and riding the Zamboni would be the greatest way of honoring my wife, my nurse, Carley Taft.

Chynna White - Aesthetic Nurse & Owner & Founder of Dollhouse Beauty & Wellness LLC

Gabby Fulton - Gabby Fulton goes above and beyond for her PICU patients and their families. Making sure everybody is always safe and Informed. She truly has a passion for what she does.

Awards and Prizes:

  • The 3 nurses with the most votes will be honored  on the ice and ride the Zamboni
  • The 3 nurse winners will each receive 2 game tickets, courtesy of Red Wings
