The Arizona Coyotes, a beloved NHL team, made it their mission to honor the unwavering efforts of nurses in their local community through an unforgettable evening of hockey, gratitude, and camaraderie.
Six lucky nurses were invited to watch the team warm up from the penalty box and were recognized throughout the game by having their names displayed on the scoreboard!
6 Nurses Were Recognized!
The following nurses were nominated by the nursing community to be honored at Nurse Appreciation Night! After an online vote, they were selected to be recognized at the game. Congrats!
- Katalina Blanchette - Katalina Blanchette has been a nurse for over 5 years. Before she was a nurse she was a CNA for 2 years. Katalina completed her BSN while playing collegiate Division II softball in New York. She then went on to complete her Master's at Liberty University in Public health with a focus in Global health. She has her Critical care certification (CCRN). She is from Las Cruces, NM and now her home base is in Phoenix, AZ where she travels specifically for Mayo Clinic wherever they have ICU nursing needs within the enterprise. She loves sports and is a compassionate and caring nurse.
