When Nurse Blake first imagined NurseCon, none of us fully knew what it would become.
We knew nurses were exhausted.
We knew traditional conferences often felt cold and transactional.
And we knew this community deserved something better.
What has grown from that simple idea is something I have the privilege of witnessing up close every day. I see reunions in the lobby. First-timers who arrive nervous and leave with lifelong friends. Tears during powerful sessions. Laughter that carries long after the CE credits are earned.

In 2026, we sail from Fort Lauderdale to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, April 27th through May 1st, transforming the ship into a floating nurse celebration filled with learning, connection, and joy.

Last year, NurseCon at Sea was named Best Nursing Event in Nurse.org’s Best of Nursing Awards, voted on by nurses themselves. That recognition meant everything because it came directly from this community.

Camp NurseCon takes place in Equinunk, Pennsylvania, September 29th through October 2nd, offering a nature-filled space to slow down and reset.
But camp is still NurseCon. There are theme parties. There is laughter. There are deep conversations and new nurse best friends. The rhythm is simply more restorative and reflective.
