From Trauma Nurse to Comedy Sensation
Blake Lynch earned his nursing degree from the University of Central Florida in 2014 and went on to work in Level 1 trauma centers across the country. He served as president of the Florida Nursing Student Association and founded Banned4Life in 2013, an advocacy movement that helped end the FDA's lifetime blood donation ban for gay men.
His comedy career took off when he started sharing nursing humor on social media, eventually becoming one of the first creators to turn the nursing experience into viral content. His 2022 PTO Comedy Tour expanded from 14 to 55 cities due to overwhelming demand, and his 2023 Shock Advised Comedy Tour hit 100 cities across North America and internationally.
"If you know me at all, you know I go there! To all the places that make us cringe, laugh, and go 'why is this our life?' and this tour is no different," Blake said in a statement shared with local media. "Grab your coworkers, your friends, your spouse, your mom, your wild grandma, all of them, and come join me for the ultimate nurse night out!"
Beyond comedy, Blake is also the founder of NurseCon at Sea, a popular nursing conference hosted on a cruise ship that combines continuing education with networking and entertainment.
He is also the founder of Camp NurseCon, a grounding and restorative wellness-focused retreat for nurses held at beautiful camp Equinunk.
