About The Finalists:
Ayesha Pacheco
Amazing nurse who provides excellent patient care and truly leads by example!
Claire Finzel
Claire Finzel is an ER Nurse at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach. A nurse who provides great care to all patients. I personally have had experiences as a firefighter bringing in patients to Claire. One time we transported an 89-year-old female to St. Mary’s, and the patient refused adamantly not to be taken to St. Mary’s. Unfortunately, due to her condition, St. Mary’s was the required hospital to transport to per protocol. As a fireman, I reassured her that St. Mary’s would be the best place for her and she would be well taken care of by the nurses there. As we arrived, Claire was our nurse. I reiterated that she has the best nurse and would be taken great care of. Five minutes after introduction, the lady stopped to tell me that I was right, and that Claire was an absolute gem. Claire’s ability to put patients at ease is unmatched due to her calmness, confidence, and empathy towards patients. If I was choosing a nurse to be taken care of in a bad situation, I’d always want Claire to be my nurse.
Jessica Urso
Jessica is such an inspiration and a nurse I truly admire!
Jill Riley
Jill Riley - she’s been a nurse for over 25 years, varying from ER nurse to home care. She’s been involved in all steps of life from birth to death. Most recently, she delivered a baby on her birthday (Oct 20th).
Juliette Villanueva
Juliette is one of the most outstanding talents to join Jackson. I started residency with her and always saw her going above and beyond for her patients. She also knows how to work well in a team.
Kristy Marin
"Kristy Marin is an exceptional nurse who is compassionate, kind, and an incredible caregiver to her patients. Recently, while caring for a critically ill patient, Kristy noticed subtle changes in their breathing and overall demeanor. Despite the patient’s vital signs appearing stable on the monitors, Kristy trusted her instincts and alerted the medical team immediately. Upon further examination, the team discovered an underlying complication that could have turned life-threatening if not addressed quickly.
That’s the type of nurse Kristy is. Her vigilance and quick action saved the patient from a dangerous situation. Her attention to detail, combined with her ability to advocate for her patient, exemplified the essential role nurses play in ensuring patient safety and delivering exceptional care."
Lillian Lastra
Lillian is a wonderful nurse practitioner!

Witnessing the toll of advanced disease firsthand, Shana became dedicated to helping patients take proactive steps in managing their health, preventing illness, and improving quality of life. Her deep commitment to improving the lives of her patients, combined with her holistic approach to medicine, makes her an outstanding nurse deserving of recognition.

Vanessa Conway
"I am writing to nominate Vanessa Conway for recognition at the Florida Panthers hockey game. As one of her patients, I can’t express enough how transformative her care has been in my life.
Vanessa treated me after my cancer journey, offering aesthetic procedures that helped restore my confidence. She took the time to listen to my concerns and provided not just treatments, but also emotional support that made a huge difference in my recovery.
Her workshops on skincare and wellness have empowered me to take charge of my health and confidence. Vanessa’s compassion and dedication shine through in everything she does. She truly deserves this recognition for the positive impact she has on her patients’ lives. Thank you for considering her."
