Michelle Davis King is facing felony charges for allegedly operating a medical spa and performing cosmetic procedures—including Botox injections and lip fillers—across Texas without a valid medical license.

Texas Investigation Details

Authorities in Montgomery County began investigating King in April 2025 after receiving reports that she was fraudulently posing as a registered nurse or licensed medical professional, operating a practice under the "Pretty Pout Med Spa" ("Pretty Pout Aesthetics" on a Facebook account since removed). Court records reveal that her unlicensed work may date back as far as 2022.

The investigation, spearheaded by the Montgomery County Narcotics Enforcement Team (MOCONET) and VICE units, found at least two victims were allegedly injured as a result of King’s procedures. Special Agents from the Food and Drug Administration Office of Criminal Investigations also joined the probe.

Arrest and Charges

King was arrested on August 22, 2025, following an undercover operation conducted by local authorities. According to Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Captain John Schmitt, “She showed up with the product. One of the things I did ask is, ‘Where does the product come from and how did people that aren't licensed obtain it?’ Some of these products are coming from Korea, Canada, overseas, and going around the DEA to do that.”

She was taken into custody on two outstanding felony warrants, with her bond set at $25,000 per charge for practicing medicine without a license.

Authorities allege King operated her medical spa both in Magnolia and while traveling across Texas, administering injectable cosmetic treatments at multiple homes. Records say she misrepresented herself as a nurse at these appointments.

What Nurses Should Know

  • Unlicensed medical practice remains a serious felony in Texas, especially when posing as a nurse or licensed practitioner.
  • Investigators warn that some injectable products used by unlicensed operators may be sourced internationally and bypassed around federal safety regulations.

As of mid-September 2025, authorities are still determining how many possible victims may have been affected by King’s procedures.

This case serves as a sobering reminder that unlicensed practice isn’t a gray area—it’s often clearly illegal, potentially harmful, and carries serious consequences.
