Job Summary and Description

This position is responsible for the successful operation of the Career Ladder Nursing Program’s clinical, traditional, and Simulation Labs for all nursing tracks. This includes supervising 100 + adjunct faculty; recruiting, hiring, orienting, scheduling, evaluating, mentoring, supporting, etc. Participating as a team member with the Nursing Program to promote continuous quality improvement throughout the Nursing Program curriculum and clinical/lab components. Ensure the continuation of the Simulation Accreditation. Oversees compliance of student requirements (immunizations, background checks, etc.)

Qualifications
Education and Experience

Required:
• Master’s Degree, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, both from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Current State of Michigan RN License or in process within 60 days of hire.
• Current BLS certification or within 30 days of hire.
• Significant administrative experience in the field of nursing.
• Significant teaching experience.
• Minimum of two years nursing practice experience.

Preferred:

• Nursing Clinical Placement experience.
• Nursing Simulation experience.
