Jana is a dual board-certified trauma and emergency nurse with 10 years of experience in emergency and inpatient critical care nursing. She also has an extensive background in cardiac, neurological, pediatric, and orthopedic nursing care. Jana has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and is currently pursuing a Master of Business degree in healthcare. Jana is actively involved in the nursing community as a member of the Commission for Nurse Reimbursement, an outspoken advocate for ending nurse violence, and an active member of the Emergency Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, American Burn Association, American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and Society of Trauma Nurses.
