Desireé Clement, DNP, APRN, CNM, FNP-BC, FACNM, FAANP, FAAN, is a navy veteran, certified nurse-midwife, and family nurse practitioner. Her current roles include Associate Professor and Assistant Dean for Clinical Advancement at Emory University Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Clement holds Fellowships in the American College of Nurse Midwives, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the American Academy of Nursing. She is a nationally recognized expert in women’s health and health policy with a research focus on innovative teaching strategies.
