It’s that time of the year again--Nurses’ Week is in full swing, running from May 6th to May 12. This year, more than ever, nurses deserve all of the honor and recognition for the hard work that they do, especially in the wake of a brand new virus that has claimed the lives of thousands around the globe.

Along with many of the free items and discounts for nurses that have been offered by companies in the face of COVID-19, we’ve rounded up some additional gifts and giveaways just for nurses during Nurses’ Week. Spread the news or send it to the favorite nurse in your life. Even if that nurse happens to be you. We think you’re pretty great too!

1. Cinnabon

Nurses can enjoy 1 free cinnabon roll during nurses week at participating locations.

2. Krispy Kreme

First responders get a free dozen of donuts on May 11, 2020. "Just go to a Krispy Kreme drive-thru, tell us what you need and show us your employer badge. That’s it," a company representative said in a statement.

3. Mrs. Fields Cookies

Mrs. Fields Cookies announced their special Nurses Week discount on their “Heroes Collection” on their Instagram and it lasts through May 12, 2020!

4. Outback SteakHouse

9. $100 off Nanit Video Monitor

If you’re a parent looking to keep an eye on your little one while you’re staying separated at home to try to protect your baby, you will appreciate this offer. U.S. healthcare workers will receive a $100 off the purchase of any Nanit camera on Nanit.com by presenting a valid work ID.

The Emergency Child Care program within the COVID-19 Crisis Fund provides tax-free stipends for hospital workers, prioritizing low-income employees, to pay for childcare while they are working on the front lines of the crisis around the clock. In addition to the limited-edition t-shirts, Jaanuu will be offering 25% off sitewide along with the ability to gift a nurse on the frontline with a gift card.

11. Hotels & Resort Stays Gifts for Later

What will healthcare heroes need after all of the stress of working through COVID? A vacation, of course. And these global hotels and resorts are hoping to make that happen. They’ve teamed up to create special experiences and offers to be booked for future travel throughout the month of May specifically for healthcare workers around the world. These "Say Thanks with Travel" offers (which are very flexible) can be purchased as a gift or by healthcare workers themselves.

We'll all be ready for travel, and no one deserves a break more than those that have been working tirelessly on the frontlines. Send them to the South Coast of Iceland, the jungles of Guatemala, or to a Caribbean island for some R&R for RNs to daydream about now and visit later. The perfect way to treat health care workers on the frontlines while also supporting the future of travel.

12. Subway & Postmates

Now through May 10, Subway will donate a 6-inch sub to healthcare workers in the U.S. for every Subway order purchased through Postmates with a value of $15 or more.

Their menu has 30+ better-for-you versions of comfort foods, like gluten-free mac and cheese made with brown rice pasta and cheesy sauce blended with a purée of cauliflower and butternut squash or turkey meatballs packed with mushrooms over zoodles as a lower-carb alternative to pasta.)
