Time Conversions & Military Time

Why This Matters for Nursing: Healthcare uses 24-hour (military) time to avoid AM/PM confusion. "Give medication at 0800" is clearer than "8:00" — no chance of mixing up morning and evening. Time math is also critical for calculating IV rates and medication schedules.
