Management plays favorites and does not behave professionally. They allow staff to bully other staff and exacerbate problems rather than solve them. Paper charting. Place is in the stone ages. You will get an impossible amount of work to finish in one shift and written up if you do not leave on time. Majority of shift is spent charting on 10 patients.

I would tell any nurse to make sure she or he has had enough med surg experience along with working multiple jobs in different settings with a wide aray of dealing with patients, management teams, other medical professionals and situational protocols.
