Negative experience over all. Would not recommend this hospital to other licensed practical nurses, certified nurse assistants or registered nurses.
Emergency Room (ER)
my coworkers were very helpful , team nursing, good managers, always around whenever needed, good size er, trauma room well equipped
The pay was not great, pay raises not too often, nurse to pt ratio was overwhelming at times, high turnover rate
Emergency Room (ER)
Coworkers are one of the positives. size of facility. Education that is available. apples and donuts too are great things
turnover, raises, pay
Nurses were mean, more interested in charting than patient care. Call lights would go unanswered while nurses stood around chatting.
fast paced, learning and teaching are always a priority, great staff, pay was good, hours were flexible, allowed for a great schedule
a lot of kids strung out on drugs for the area
Operating Room (OR)
Mediocre at best.
Close to my house.
Lacking intellectual curiosity. Not very good with non-standard or complicated issues. Eager to fit your problem into a pre-selected solution. Mediocre at best.
Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC)
Approximately 11 years RN experience working in an acute care hospital
Working in a multitude of medical areas enhanced my experience and nursing knowledge. My hospital experience ranges from ED to acute/long term care
Medical-Surgical (MS, Med-Surg)
Enjoyed working at this facility
Pay rate good benefits package low patient nurse ratio overall a very good place.to work. I have not been there since the new building opened
Excellent place to work
Some of the best staff I have ever had the privilege of working with. The management are staff oriented while patient focused.
Sudden growth has left some processes wanting.
Consistent work. Flexible schedule
Good teamwork. Doctors do not mind questions or to teach you something new. Good food in the cafeteria. Pleasant surroundings.
Lower pay than other area hospitals
