Great team and stafff

PROS:

Coworkers ,pay, location and scheduling all good. The nursing team is strong as well as the internist team. The pediatric unit and anesthesiology dept were great as well.

Working with children is a pro in itself. But the education and support from staff is amazing here. The pay is nice as well

Coworkers learning opportunities EMR working with new Dr's and residents

CONS:

Parking and distance were a problem for me and I didn't care for 12 hour shifts...they constantly asked if I would stay for sixteen hours

PROS:

I've worked in medical/cardiac critical care in the last 7 years. Prior to that, I worked in the telemetry unit for 6 years I now work in the out-patient setting in the cardiovascular clinic. Advocate Lutheran General hospital is a great place to gain experience and promote a great learning experience

We are a great team and help each other. There are Times that we are short staff so team work is a must. Short staff but good staff

The nurse to patient ratio is not followed, if there is an empty room they will fill it regardless If they have the staffing to cover it. Breaks, what are those?
