Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU)

Excellent

PROS:

Loved the entire experience, wonderful staff, great schedule, great manager, awesome doctors, loved every minute of working here and hate that I cannot renew

CONS:

No cons to note

Intensive Care (Critical Care, CCU, ICU)

Does not treat African American Staff fairly

PROS:

The hospital is beautiful, had some new upgrades

CONS:

Racism and favoritism is the secret issue. The ICU rarely hires blacks especially on the night shift, and when they do they are treated with suspicion.

Emergency Room (ER)

Great staff

PROS:

Coworkers pace faculty pay scheduling ratio location from lodging time time time time ti.e ti.e tk.e staff personnel activity friendliness happiness environment

Medical-Surgical (MS, Med-Surg)

Teamwork

PROS:

Womderful staff to work with. Great manager willing to work with your schedule. We always have the supplies needed

CONS:

Every other weekend work. 6 pt ratio I really have no complaints at this job. Its been. A great experience

Long-Term Care (LTC)

RN

PROS:

Coworkers good and working hours are reasonable. Cons are the pay and workload. Location is easy to find. They don't have a large facility.

great group of people.

PROS:

There are great employees already working there. Management is very involved. Home town feeling with good community outreach programs in place

often work short with 6-7 patients
