PROS:

Im a team player and have worked agency in the past. I have 18 to 20 years experience. Pay and flexible hours

CONS:

Would prefer not to work weekends

PROS:

Pay is good, modern equipment, friendly staff , adequate vacation time. Doctors are very friendly and treat you as an equal.

Intensive Care (Critical Care, CCU, ICU)

Best view ever!

PROS:

Awesome, friendly coworkers, great location, surrounded by water on three side, self scheduling, average pay and patient ratio, four hospital system with many opportunities.

CONS:

"Floating" to other units or even hospitals.

Family like environment ... great education and ceus offered ... strong nursing staff.... all up to date equipment. And education to guide staff to familiarity

CONS:

Wide arrange of ages and education in staff.... not very accessible management ... old school docs quite belittling to new staff... managerial high turnover rate

Orthopedics

Orthopedic floor nurse

PROS:

Coworkers were great to work with. Nurse to patient ratio was good. pay was excellent. facility was clean and a small family atmospheres

CONS:

12 hour shifts turn into 14 hours after charting. Fast paced working environment due to post op care
