Nurse

PROS:

Facility, coworkers, ratio and pay are my pros to the facility. Loved working here. Everyone helped out when needed in emergency situations

CONS:

Pay, scheduling are my two cons

Pediatric

My first impression at orientation was dubious But it all turned out positive.

PROS:

The pros, coworkers on my shift were wonderful people. I worked with core staff and travelers. Mid Level provider and my experience was very positive.

CONS:

The only con really was the scheduling and sometimes you can not always get what you want. LOL

Operating Room (OR)

TRAVELER FRIENDLY

PROS:

FRIENDLY COWORKERS, CLEAN AND WELL STOCKED FACILITY, BEAUTIFUL CAMPUS, CAN PICK UP EXTRA TIME IF DESIRED, HOUSING NEARBY IS NICE BUT VERY VERY EXPENSIVE, CLOSE SHOPPING

CONS:

VERY EXPENSIVE AREA, NO PORK IN THE CAFETERIA, VERY LITTLE MEAT

Medical-Surgical (MS, Med-Surg)

Three Stars

PROS:

Ok working conditions Medical surgical floor - dressing change , ng tube care, peripheral and central lines, TURP, chest tube, feeding tubes

CONS:

None

Emergency Room (ER)

Four Stars

PROS:

This is an independent, stand alone er...updated skills are a must! Lack of knowledgeable resources. Lower acuity most of the time, skill set is not as wide as other er's

Our culture is great and our staff are all wonderful to work with! I feel that we are short-staffed, and our responsibilities are sometimes too demanding.
