Horrible care

1
PROS:

Decent cafeteria, decent pay, I can honestly say I have a very hard time saying anything positive about this place. I worked there for 7 years and then I was a patient there twice in last 2 years. I will never go there again

CONS:

Over worked understaffed Nurses And unqualified CNA'. Half of the nurses speak very broken English

Intensive Care (Critical Care, CCU, ICU)

Staff RN in Respiratory ICU, 3 years

4
PROS:

The facility is well run, they work with your schedule pretty well, there are safe patient ratios in ICU, good relationships between RNs and physicians

CONS:

Pay for staff nurses is not especially competitive.

Intensive Care (Critical Care, CCU, ICU)

Shock Trauma, Septic Shock, Neurogenic Shock,

5
PROS:

Skilled in the care on complex trauma cases requiring interventions such as mass transfusion, permissive hypotension and trauma resuscitation, intracranial pressure monitoring and external ventricular drains. Mitchell is experienced in receiving and stabilizing multifaceted surgical cases including open abdomens, liver transplants, and exploratory trauma surgeries. Through this experience he has gained a strong knowledge of hemodynamics, the titration of vasoactive and inotropic medications, rapid sequence and delayed sequence intubation, continuous renal replacement therapy and sedation. He continues to build this knowledge through hard work, a desire to care for complex patients, and a sincere motivation to learn from those around him, ask the question “why?” and be a strong, giving member of the team.
