ETMC Jacksonville was established in 1919 and is one of the oldest hospitals in East Texas. The hospital affiliated with ETMC in 1997. With the affiliation came plans for substantial expansion and renovation of our facility in the heart of Jacksonville. We are proud to provide a broad range of healthcare services, including Cherokee County’s only obstetrical unit and only intensive care unit.

Love it you learn new things every day
Thus is a very small very rural hospital, know what your resources are ,and always be prepared for anything.
Emergency Room (ER)
To work in an emergency setting it is imperative that you have at least 2 years general medical surgical experience. You should have enpc tncc acls and would also help if you had some icu experience as well. It would be best if you have taken a basic EKG class !!!
