Very clean positive environment.

PROS:

Facility, pay, military co workers and doctors are very respectful and easy to work with. A beautiful cafeteria. Low cafeteria prices. Recommend highly if you like strict and disciplined environment.

CONS:

Lazy civilian co workers.

Love taking care of military.

PROS:

Facility is very clean and odor free, forms are easy to fill out as well. Management is ready to get along with. Military are hard workers. Civilians not so much.

Chief case manager for Soldiers

PROS:

Pay, staff. Soldiers, flexible work schedule, ability to work with preceptor for 1 week before starting on my own. Ability to renew contract there after assignment was over

I worked at a contract nurse.

PROS:

Pay was good, coworkers were pleasant for the most part. SELF scheduling was good in the beginning. Benefits were good if you didn't need the company health insurance.

CONS:

Scheduling was all over the place. They went from self scheduling to wanting people to rotate

If you have any time working as an OR Nurse, do NOT go into the military. The work is very light and not challenging.
