Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas is the only dedicated freestanding pediatric facility in the region. Serving a 46-county area and beyond, Dell Children’s is the premier health care provider for children and adolescents. Dell Children’s is the Pediatric Level I Trauma Center in Central Texas and one of only four in all of Texas. It is one of an elite group of children’s hospitals that offer the highest level of care available to children who have been victims of trauma.

Operating Room (OR)

Great place

PROS:

Staff works well together and helps each other. Doctors are nice and receptive to travelers that know what they are doing.

CONS:

Under new management. Sterile processing needs a lot of work.

That you have many opportunities to work in many areas of pediatrics. Ww work in pediatrics, and in surgery. I love worki g in the surgery department, whether i am scrubbing as a technologist or an operating room nurse. I enjoy my job, but my management is lacking in areas

The staff is great. communication is so so It's a great place to work Call is excessive This is owned by Seton which is a large hospital group and they just look at employees as a number. I am a traveler there and will not stay on for this reason
