Scheduling and pay are the good things. Great coworkers as well. Director is amazing. She is easy to talk to.
Not too great
I love my night shift coworkers. I love critical care in general. My schedule is awesome.
I work nights. I don't truly find that adult care is the perfect fit for me anymore. It really tough trying to communicate with family members on the status of loved ones.
Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Pay is too low....and you definitely earn It here. The work flow is non stop so pay should be more
Post Trauma can be rewarding. To be able to get your patients back home.
Correctional nursing has become an elite field. Correctional nursing is unique in it's own way. I feel great knowing I can help someone who is unable to gain access to healthcare due to their circumstances. Most of our patients have lttle or no access to quality healthcare prior to their incarceration. Which makes them very vunerable.
