Emergency Room (ER)

Amazing team work in interdisciplinary work flow

PROS:

coworkers are amazing, Management is accessible, competative bonus pay for coverage, and ample parking. a place to grow skills as RNs do almost everything there. Dr, PA, and NPs all work respectfully and closely with RN to maximized Pt safety and create amazing working environment.

CONS:

Always very busy, and a lot of it with low acuity because of poor community education for parts of the surrounding neighborhood. But it a great opportunity to try an educate people about preventative care.

Medical-Surgical (MS, Med-Surg)

Utilizing skills, gaining and sharing knowledge with a common goal

PROS:

Coworkers who help one another, hours that fit you, location in a hip (but not too hipster) Chicago neighborhood, old school building

CONS:

Facility, over management for some, under management for others
