Progressive Care

Tnx with pcu home health care and 15 years case management experience

PROS:

Great co workers and leadership and benefits great support from leadership and numerous opportunities for education and advancement it is a supportive work environment

CONS:

Really have nothing negative to say

Registered nurse

PROS:

Growing hospital, busiest ER in the nation, opening women's and children's hospital, new rehabilitation center, trauma center, large psychiatric unit for adults and adolescents.

CONS:

Low pay compared to other area hospitals, no clinical ladder, 50 cents for BSN, no real nursing leadership, not interested in protecting staff just the hospital

Ambulatory Care

PROS:

Co-workers, variety in schedule, benefits are good. Growing facility, patient to nurse ratios are ok.

CONS:

Pay is lower than surrounding hospitals, no clinical ladder, difficult to move up in organization. Weak nursing leadership, Education department is seriously absent, evaluation does not impact pay, everyone gets the same low pay increase, no matter how hard you work or don't work.

Ambulatory Care

PROS:

great nursing staff, busy facility, always work to do, great support staff, level 3 trauma center, building new women and children tower

CONS:

growing at great speed, a lot of changes

PROS:

Excellent facility, leading cancer and cardiac researchers, learning hospital with Magnate status care. The staff are dedicated educators to students, patients and caregivers.

CONS:

Pay isn't the best, considering the acuity of the care, but I'm finding that this isn't uncommon in this environment.

Good staffing and or ratios. Hospital cares about employees. Assignments are fair. Pay was great. Fl nice to work in

Large hospital, a lot of people in house at all hours. Has good pharmacy with knowledgeable pharmacist. Would work here again
