Performed clinicals here, as a student Nurse

PROS:

Excellent facility, leading cancer and cardiac researchers, learning hospital with Magnate status care. The staff are dedicated educators to students, patients and caregivers.

CONS:

Pay isn't the best, considering the acuity of the care, but I'm finding that this isn't uncommon in this environment.

Good staffing and or ratios. Hospital cares about employees. Assignments are fair. Pay was great. Fl nice to work in

Large hospital, a lot of people in house at all hours. Has good pharmacy with knowledgeable pharmacist. Would work here again

It's a good place to work. I worked as a nurse for approx. 38yrs. I worked in med surg, adminitwring meds,inserting iv, Dr's orders. . Also in geriatrics, telemetry and now mental health.

PROS:

The hospital is nice. Keeping it up to date. People are friendly. However, I feel the hospital looks after finances more than patient care or the well being of staff members. They do this by making charge nurses take teams which doesn't allow them to help us when needed.
