PROS:

Coworkers make the experience! Self-scheduling is exactly what it claims, patient ratios are fair (4:1 in ED), educational opportunities and area college partnerships

Telemetry

Laid Back Small Hospital

PROS:

Nurse patient ratio has been 3-4/1. Mostly CP R/o MI or CHF or AFib for cardioversion. Helpful staff, easy to get around unit.

CONS:

Med-Surge is harder to work than telemetry. Hard nurse/pt ratio or equity.
