Great experience

PROS:

Teaching Hospital, great experience as a student while in nursing school. I would highly recommend as a place of work.

Interventional Radiology (IR)

Welcoming

PROS:

Staff supportive and friendly, beautiful campus, encourages to learn as traveller, asked for input in schedule, on call wasn't much

CONS:

Get guaranteed hours as census fluctuated and staff flexed off quite a bit and would have been cancelled time most weeks

Medical-Surgical (MS, Med-Surg)

Three Stars

PROS:

Staffing is difficult with patient nurse ratios

CONS:

None

PACU (Post-Anasthesia, Recovery Room, PAR)

Three Stars

PROS:

It could be worse. Come to work, do your job, and try not to get on management's radar. Expect to work understaffed, and expect to be busy. There's a lot of turn over in leadership and everywhere else right now. But for the most part, it's a great hospital. The docs and support staff are awesome, and so are the other nurses.

CONS:

None
