Progressive Care

Union hospital

PROS:

Friendly staff, some very welcoming, Pay is subpar, pay their staff nurses better. Great patient to nurse ratios, management accessible

CONS:

Pay for parking monthly, mile trek from parking lot, mid shift floating, expense area

Neurology

Great travel assignment

PROS:

Co-workers, schedule, teaching hospital, float, opportunity to work in different areas. Football, columbus has a lot to offer

CONS:

Having to Pay to park in order to work. Everything is so spread out, required to travel distance for work requirements

Home Health (Hospice)

RN Case Manager

PROS:

Competitive pay, great staff, company cars. Offers home health for both skilled nursing and Hospice. Management is very friendly and kind.

CONS:

Must be willing to drive quite a bit, turnover rate tends to be a bit rapid.

Neurology ICU (Neuro ICU)

PROS:

The pay is really good and so are the benefits, ratios are fair and especially good in the James. The staff is generally friendly and everything is relatively new and kept up to date.

CONS:

Union and parking is awful

PROS:

Currently am a Nurse Surveyor for the State of Ohio, but my last Hospital position was at Ohio State, and it was wonderful. The pay is great, staffing is decent, training excellent, benefits to rival any I've seen.

be open minded, caring and do your best. Great benefits and pay. High stress areas where mandation is required to stay an additonal 4 hr before or after your 12 hr shift.

benefits are amazing and all staff members are close and friendly. nurse-to-patient ratios tend to be high most days. Difficult patient population.
