I like my job but we have some issues that need to be addressed
My coworkers are hard working and highly skilled in the service they work for. The hospital I work for have a lot of resource personal during the day
Our pay grade is not the best. They strive to pay the nurses in the 50 Th percentile. Also we have scheduling issues. We can not get a day off. Our schedule is not completed until the day it starts and management changes
Medical-Surgical (MS, Med-Surg)
There is great interprofessional team work.
Great hospital with great oppurtunities

Jefferson is a hospital where you will gain a lot of experience and you will have a lot of support along the way. It's a very fast pace hospital located in center city. It is a teaching hospital so there is much to learn from residents and staff. It's a very fast pace hospital located in center city. Critical care nursing is not for the faint hearted, especially in an urban community hospital such as the South Philadelphia campus of the hospital I work at.
Great place to work but a time for change has come.
