PACU (Post-Anasthesia, Recovery Room, PAR)

Treated me like family

PROS:

Loved the city, the hospital, and my co-workers. Couldn't have asked for a better assignment.

CONS:

It's very expensive to live in the city and hard to find housing if you have animals. Parking is almost impossible unless you pay for a garage

PROS:

The pay and benefits were wonderful. They were very nice to work for. The co workers were all supportive. There was a lot of support and education.

Got my RN through MGH reimbursement it was hard to find a job within the company

PROS:

Pension, benefits, many departments to choose from, daycare if you can get a spot and status of working at a Magnet

CONS:

Not flexible, pay isn't great, no parking, have to,have BSN, most nurses are salary, no room for growth

PROS:

Pay, experience, education, coworkers ,opportunities ,location patients equipment staff ceiling travel team also has an amazing day off tomorrow for everyone else is going on in people's minds that you were talking about him to residents of the craziness that you are on the phone bc idk

Coworkers are great and everyone works together. The area is very competitive with all of the hospitals which means you receive good pay

CONS:

Scheduling is difficult to adjust to and the hospital unit is limited in space
