Medical-Surgical (MS, Med-Surg)

MS for almost a year at facility

PROS:

Coworkers are great! Facility is nice and clean, pay is competitive, 1 Nurse to 6 patient maximum, bed side reporting , doctors and specialists are great

CONS:

Better team work on night shift, had a few problems with payroll which is beyond frustrating.

Case Management (CM)

Two Stars

PROS:

None

CONS:

nothing much

Medical-Surgical (MS, Med-Surg)

Great team work, always learning new procedures, great doctors.

PROS:

Co workers are great. Close, family oriented and treated like family by everyone! Including the doctors! ! Hit to make your own schedule. Shift diffs and bonuses if caked in. On call pay.

CONS:

Small hospital, pay isn't the best, but they are working on it. Got to make your own schedule, but if you worked nights then you got the days no one wanted.

Emergency Room (ER)

Three Stars

PROS:

It is a great place to work!

CONS:

None

Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Loved it!

PROS:

I loved my coworkers. They have a great team both on night shift and day shift. Pay was decent. NM/Director was easy to work with.

CONS:

Assignment was not long enough! It is a small hospital (only 24 beds). The only downside that I can think of is that they do not need help right now.
